| 海雾 marine fog 在海洋 影响下生成于海上或海岸区域的雾 。海上航行，常因海雾而受阻，甚至造成海难。依成因不同，可把海雾分成平流雾、混合雾、辐射雾和地形雾4种。 全球各海区的海雾，类型虽然很多，但其中范围大、影响严重的，首推平流冷却雾，而以中高纬度大西洋的纽芬兰岛为中心和以北太平洋千岛群岛为中心的两个带状雾区最为显著，以南印度洋爱德华王子群岛为中心的带状雾区也很突出。其次便是大洋东岸低纬度信风带上游的雾，如太平洋东岸的加利福尼亚外海和秘鲁外海，大西洋东岸的加拿利群岛以南的海域和纳米比亚外海，都是这类雾区。这些海域的海雾多在春夏盛行，尤以夏季为最。其特点是雾浓，持续时间长，严重的大雾可持续1～2个月。平流蒸发雾多见于冷季的副极地或冰山和流冰的外缘水域，雾层薄，形似炊烟。但当它在春秋季节与平流冷却雾在中、高纬度海域交替出现时，也常构成大片浓雾区。至于散布在世界各海域（或湖泊）的零星雾区，大多有地区性，难成体系，且不一定属于同一雾型。 |
