This article makes a brief introduction to the upgrading from ISBN-10 to ISBN-13,and discusses the influence of ISBN-13 on library management system from the following five aspects: the storage structure of data tables,Marc data,user s retrieval,duplicated books and reprinted books,retrospective bibliographic databases.
