A new method of calculating cutter-location in numerical control flank milling of twisted ruled surface impeller is presented.
提出了一种计算数控侧铣任意扭曲直纹面叶轮刀位数据的新方法:沿直纹面母线两端点的法矢量偏置一定距离得到2个点,以这2个偏置点所在的直线作为刀轴方向,并使母线两端点到刀轴的距离为刀具半径,推导出了在利用圆柱铣刀侧铣直纹面时刀具与曲面切触线的方程以及加工误差的计算方法,并以计算实例验证了该算法的正确性。

| 直纹面 ruled surface 由直线运动所产生的曲面。动直线称为直母线(简称母线)。柱面和锥面都是直纹面。二次曲面中的单叶双曲面和双曲抛物面(马鞍面)也是直纹面。过柱面和锥面上每一点有一条直直纹面模型直母线,而过单叶双曲面和双曲抛物面上每一点有两条直母线。这就是说,柱面和锥面各由一族直母线组成,而单叶双曲面和双曲抛物面各由两族直母线分别组成。此外,由一条空间曲线的全体切线组成的切线曲面也是直纹面。
