By comparing Soxhlet extraction with ultrasonic method,conclusion has been obtained that Soxhlet method is suitable for extracting multiple persistent organic pollutants from oil using acetone and petroleum ether as tactant and eluant in a proportion of one to one and with a recovery rate between 70%~90%,whereas ultrasonic method can be used for individual POPs,which needs less tim.
