2.金融风险管理对经济、社会的意义。 (l)金融风险管理有利于社会资源的优化配置。任何物的流动，即商品使用价值的流动都会引起其价值的相应流动;同样，任何价值的流动也会引起其使用价值的相应流动。作为价值的直接表现形态的货币资金流动，必然会引起其他资源的相应流动。而实施金融风险管理则能减少金融风险损失，并促使货币资金向所需部门流动，从而引起其他社会资源合理地流向所需部门，最终避免或减少社会资源的浪费，提高其利用率。 (2)金融风险管理有助于经济的稳定发展。我们知道，金融风险一旦发生，它带来的损失金额往往比一般风险造成的损失大几倍甚至十几倍。这是因为货币资金的筹集与经营，不但涉及了生产领域和分配领域，而且还涉及了流通(交换)领域和消费领域，即它涉及了社会再生产的各个环节。所以，金融风险的存在与发生，无疑是经济稳定发展的一个威胁。而金融风险管理的实施，不但能在一定程度上减少金融风险发生的可能性，而且能在金融风险发生后减少它带来的经济损失，从而减少金融风险损失给社会再生产各个环节带来的波及效应和不良后果，最终促进经济的稳定发展和经济效益的提高。【金融风险管理的意义】 1.金融风险管理对经济实体的意义。 (l)金融风险管理能为各经济实体(包括居民个人、家庭、企业、银行、非银行金融机构、政府)提供一个安全稳定的资金筹集与资金经营的环境。实施金融风险管理，能减少或消除各经济实体的紧张不安和恐惧优虑心理，从而为他们提供一个宽松安定的资金筹集与经营环境，并提高他们的工作效率和经营效益。 (2)金融风险管理能保障经济实体经营目标的顺利实现。经济实体筹集和经营货币资金的目的就是获取利润，而实施金融风险管理则能把经济实体面临的金融风险降到最低限度，并能在金融风险损失发生后及时合理地提供预先准备的补偿基金，从而直接或间接地降低费用开支。这些都有利于经济实体盈利的增加和经营目标的实现。 (3)金融风险管理能促进经济实体资金筹集和资金经营决策的合理化与科学化，并减少决策的风险性。
