性质描述: 白色至微黄色粉末。熔点180-185℃（分解）。易溶于水而成半透明溶液，对碱；弱酸和硬水都很稳定。微有特殊气味。

生产方法: 将十二醇与氯磺酸按摩尔比1：1.03投料，在30-35℃进行磺化反应，生成的磺酸酯用30%氢氧化钠中和，生成十二醇硫酸钠，经双氧水漂白；喷雾干燥即得成品。原料消耗（kg、t）月桂醇（C12>85%） 725固碱（NaOH>95%） 183氯磺酸（>95%） 458

用途: 用作洗涤和纺织助剂，也用作牙膏发泡剂，灭火泡沫液，乳液聚合乳化剂，医药用乳化分散剂，洗发剂等化妆制品，羊毛净洗剂。
