| 计算平台 computing platform 计算机系统硬件与软件的设计和开发的基础。具有一定的标准性和公开性，同时也决定了该计算机系统的硬件与软件的性能。硬件的基础是中央处理器（CPU ），软件的基础是操作系统。因此，通常用作为计算机系统 CPU 的某种处理机类型和该系统使用的操作系统，即处理机／操作系统来表征计算平台。 计算平台这个名词是在20世纪80年代后期出现的 。当时，微型机中的个人计算机已经进入大批量生产。规模性大生产要求形成而且也已自然形成若干种标准，在这种标准基础上开发的硬件和软件具有较强的生命力和较大的市场，不符合该标准的厂商和产品已经在衰退。在硬件的处理机方面，美国INTEL公司生产的产品系列8086／8088、80286、80386和80486实际上已经成为微型机的CPU的重要标准。在软件方面 ，微软公司的 MSDOS已成为微型机操作系统的重要标准。微处理机的结构与代码又是和操作系统密切相关的。因此 ，80x86／MSDOS（其中x为2 、3和4）就成为微型机硬软件开发的基础标准。人们习惯称之为计算平台。当然，计算机的硬件和软件标准还有总线标准 、网络标准和图形接口标准等等。有人把这些标准也称为平台，如把某种网络类型和网络操作系统称为开发网络软件与硬件的平台，把某种分布式操作系统称为开发分布式处理软件的平台，把某种图形硬件软件接口标准称为开发图形软件的平台，等等。以上这些平台也都具有一定的开放性。 |
