木荷与杉木萌芽林混交试验,结果表明:杉木萌芽林改造为木荷杉木混交林后,林木生长量大幅度提高,林木和林地持水、保水能力增强,林内小气候得到改善,林分水源涵养能力进一步提高,林地生产力得到维护,为今后杉木多代萌芽林和杉木低产林改造提供科学依据。

现代文学期刊。月刊（初为半月刊）。中国作家协会上海分会主办，由《萌芽》社编辑出版，是发表文学新作培养文学新人的刊物。刊登青年作者的小说、诗歌、散文、特写、小品文、曲艺、小型剧本等创作，并选刊美术作品，还设有《文学青年笔谈》、《文艺理论》栏目,曾开辟《在社会主义高潮激流中》、《大跃进一日》和《建国十年》征文等专栏，撰稿者有浩然、刘真、胡万春、陆俊超、雁翼、费礼文、沙叶新、温承训、严阵等。在《文学辅导》专栏中，发表了王西彦、魏金枝、欧阳文彬、峻青等人撰写的文章。1960年9月停刊。1964年1月复刊,1966年7月停刊,先后共出129期。1981年1月，再度复刊。同年 5月起，又另编《萌芽》增刊──《电视·电影文学》，每季度1期。
1964年《萌芽》编辑部和上海文艺出版社合编出版《萌芽丛书》。为适应社会主义新时期一代文学新人的崛起，从1982年开始《萌芽》社又分别与上海文艺出版社、福建人民出版社等出版社合编出版《萌芽丛书》。该丛书以选编中、青年作者的中、长篇小说为主，兼及短篇小说集和散文、诗歌集，并选编《萌芽》上发表的比较优秀的作品，按小说、散文、诗歌分集出版，以帮助文学新人的成长。
