计量群势的单位有三种:①框数。用目测计算，以巢脾两面布满蜜蜂而又不重叠为一框;②重量。对群内全部蜜蜂进行实际称量，以千克计;③个体数。通常以框数或重量换算;西方蜜蜂1千克约有4个标准框蜜蜂，每框约有2500只工蜂;中华蜜蜂1千克约有5框，每框约有2500只工蜂。在蜂群增殖季节，群内蜂子的数盆是群势发展的潜力，测算群势时应予以计算。在一年中的不同季节，衡量群势强弱的标准也不相同，在温带地区，习用标准如上表所示。 群势的强弱与饲养方式、管理技术水平、病敌为害程度、蜂种特性、蜂王质量以及蜜粉源条件等都有密切关系。养蜂者在检查蜂群时应该准确侧算和记录群势，并根据群势变化，采取有效管理措施，以便达到提高蜂群质量的目的。(纬行舟)群势(即wer of eolony:population ofafony)蜂群中工蜂及子脾的数量状况。群势量蜂群质量的主要标志，通常用强、中、弱表示。蜂群内蜜蜂个体的不断代换，蜂群的群势也处于地变化中。在沮带地区，随着季节和蜜派的变化，在年周期中的消长规律大致如下图所示。6衡于停势c是由不眸┌──┬───────┬─┬─┬─┬──┬──┬─┬───────┐│几 │上。
