| 蜡蝉科 Fulgoridae 同翅目的一大科。体小型至大型。单眼着生在复眼的附近或下方，通常在颊的凹陷处。触角锥状，多感觉器。中足基节长，着生在体的两侧，互相远离；后足基节短，固定不能活动，并互相接触；能跳跃，前翅前缘基部有明显的肩板；前翅爪片上通常有2脉纹，其端部愈合成Y形。常见的种类如龙眼鸡、樗鸡、八点蜡蝉等。 |
