| 狮子鱼 Liparidinae；snailfishes 鲉形目圆鳍科狮子鱼亚科鱼类的通称 。约有13属150多种，中国有1属4种。体长可达450毫米。体延长，前部亚圆筒形，后部渐侧扁狭小。头宽大平扁。吻宽钝。眼小，上侧位。口端位，上颌稍突出。鳃孔中大。体无鳞，皮松软，光滑或具颗粒状小棘。背鳍延长，连续或具一缺刻，鳍棘细弱，与鳍条相似；臀鳍延长；尾鳍平截或圆形，常与背鳍和臀鳍相连；胸鳍基宽大，向前伸达喉部；腹鳍胸位，愈合为一吸盘。主要分布于北太平洋、北大西洋及北极海，少数见于南极海。狮子鱼主食甲壳动物，也吃小鱼。中国数量较多的为细纹狮子鱼。 |
