多孔菌目的 1科。本科真菌子实体有菌盖和柄。柄中生到偏生，发育良好。菌肉质白色或微着色。菌丝体为一体型。生殖菌丝壁薄，无锁状联合。子实层着生于齿或刺上，刺圆形，顶端尖。无囊状体和胶囊体。担子细长棒状，有2～6个小梗。不孕的担子很多。孢子椭圆形或近球形，无色，平滑，非拟淀粉质。
本科真菌地生或生于腐殖质上，世界分布。仅包括1属，有些种类可引起活树的树心腐朽。
