      昆虫纲同翅目(Homoptera)蚧总科(Coccoidea)盾蚧科(Diaspididae)。果树害虫,主要为害梨、苹果等。国际检疫对象。雌成虫体鲜黄色、扁圆形,长0.8~1毫米。口器丝状,刺吸式,眼和足退化。体背覆盖有灰褐色的圆形介壳。雄成虫体橙黄色,有翅一对。复眼黄色。若虫2龄后雌雄分化。雄虫体长0.6毫米,介壳长椭圆形,壳点在介壳的前端。中国分布于东北、华北、西北各地。寄主植物有梨、 苹果、 花红和部分核果树。在辽宁南部、山东、陕西梨树上年发生2代,苹果树上3代,主要以2龄若虫及少数受精雌虫在寄主枝条上越冬,翌年继续发育为害,雌雄成虫于4、5月间交尾后,每雌产若虫百头左右。有孤雌生殖现象。初生若虫在寄主枝条、果实适宜处固定刺吸汁液为害,并分泌蜡丝形成介壳,寄主受害严重时枯死。第1代若虫于6月开始发生,寄生于枝条、叶片。第2代发生于7月下旬至9月间,为发生盛期,主要为害果实;第3代发生于9月至11月上旬,为害果实,部分若虫在枝条上越冬。常世代重叠。天敌主要有梨圆蚧普乐蚜小蜂和短缘毛蚧小蜂,以及红点唇瓢虫等。防治措施除利用天敌外,还包括严格执行检疫制度,防止随苗木、接穗传播;在果树休眠期可喷布石油乳剂并结合修剪枝条消灭越冬虫源;在1龄若虫扩散期,喷布乐果或害普威,在花芽开绽期喷布对硫磷等。
