侵蚀沟
为线形伸展的槽形凹地。是暂时性流水形成的侵蚀地貌,主要发育在半干旱气候带的松散沉积层上,在植被稀疏的缓坡地区,侵蚀沟可以发展得很快,使地形遭受强烈的分割,蚕食耕地,破坏道路,造成大量的水土流失。
侵蚀沟的形成与发展可分为以下几个阶段,细沟阶段;水流在斜坡上由片流逐渐汇集成细小的股流,在地表形成大致平行的细沟(宽0.5米,深0.1~0.4米,长数米)。由细沟进一步下切加深形成了切沟;切沟已有了明显的沟缘,沟口形成小陡坎,宽和深可达1~2米。切沟再进一步下蚀,形成了冲沟;冲沟的沟头有了明显的陡坎,沟边经常发生崩塌、滑坡、使沟槽不断加宽,冲沟深约几米至几十米,长约几百米,冲沟在我国的黄土高原特别发育。冲沟进一步发展,沟坡由崩塌逐渐变得平缓,沟底填充碎屑物,形成宽而浅的干谷称为拗谷。
