【来 源】
：为毛茛科植物兴安白头翁pulsatill dahurica（Fisch．）Spreng．的根。
【采 制】
：夏、秋季采挖，除去泥沙，干燥。
【性 味】
：根类圆柱形，扭曲，长8～25cm，直径0.5～2cm。表面黄棕色，具纵皱纹，皮部易脱落，有的有网状裂纹。根头部稍膨大，有白色绒毛，可见鞘状叶柄残基。质硬脆，断面皮部黄白色，木部淡黄色。气微，味微苦涩。性寒，味苦。
【植物形态】
：多年生草本，高10～45cm。基生叶多数，叶柄基部较宽，叶片长圆状卵形，三出羽状分裂，顶裂片具柄，柄长约2cm，广卵形，3深裂，裂片再2～3中裂至浅裂，侧裂片通常无柄，不等2深裂，裂片再2～3中裂至浅裂；最终裂片狭长圆形至线状披针形，全缘或具疏锯齿，叶表面无毛，背面被疏毛。花葶在开花时顶部梢弯曲或下垂，疏被白色柔毛；总苞叶掌状深裂，裂片线形至线状披针形，不分裂，2～3浅裂或羽状分裂，外面被长柔毛，里面无毛；花蓝紫色，通常不开展；萼片6枚，长约2cm，宽0.5～1cm，先端不反卷，外面密被长柔毛，里面无毛。瘦果长圆形，宿存花柱细长，长达5.5cm，稍弯曲，密被白色羽状毛，近顶部羽状毛渐稀疏。花期5～6月，果期6～7月。

：生于石砾地、林间空地。主产东北。
