补充资料：固原朝那古城
朝那古城位于固原县城西16公里处的古城镇人民政府驻地，朝那城因其年代久远，故名古城，为秦汉朝那县治所。朝那城址居古城川正中，茹河北岸，这里三面环山，峰峦叠嶂，为通往古长安的要冲。
朝那古城地势平坦，其平面呈长方形，东西长682米、南北宽480米，占地面积32.7万平方米。朝那城墙残高1-13米不等，基宽14米，夯土层14~20米。朝那城依东西南北开四门，今彭固公路穿东西城门而过。沿朝那城墙外四周辟有深3米、宽20米的护城壕堑，至今犹存。
朝那古城历史悠久，是宁夏境内设置最早的四个县治之一。公元前272年，秦昭襄王伐灭义渠戎国，以朝那邑为中心，有县治达1200多年，明降为东山里，清为古城川堡。
汉文帝十四年匈奴单于14万骑入朝那萧关，北地都尉孙印碧血撒疆场，朝野震动。1949年中国人民解放军任山河战斗惊天地、泣鬼神。几经沧桑，朝那古城已残缺严重，但朝那城址至今轮廓清晰，气势雄伟。
