【千手观音】
（菩萨）具名千手千眼观世音，又名千眼千臂观世音Sahasrabhujasahasranetra，六观音之一。两眼两手外左右各具二十手，手中各有一眼，四十手四十眼配于二十五有，而成千手千眼。表度一切众生有无碍之大用也。为伽梵达磨译之千手经所说。通途之千手观音是也。若依智通及菩提流支译之千手经，则面具三眼，体具千臂，掌中各有一眼。又秘藏记曰：“千手千眼观世音具二十七面，有千手千眼，黄金色。”按楞严经。观世音菩萨，以修证圆通。无上道故。能现众多妙容，由一首三首乃至一百八首，千首，万首，八万四千烁迦罗首。由二臂四臂乃至一百八臂，千臂，万臂，八万四千母陀罗臂。由二目三目乃至一百八目，千目，万目，八万四千清净宝目云。
