指因病变或其他原因需要做关节固定时,为尽量满足工作上和生活上的需要,应使关节固定于该关节最常用的位置上,由于这种位置代表了该关节功能的主流,故称功能位。如肘关节的功能位置为90~100度的屈曲位置,这个位置对患肢的功能的影响远较伸直或其他位置为小。
