Using the method of positioned testing,this paper made a study of the effects of rainfall reallocation on the nutrient dynamic of Liquidambar formosana plantation in Changsha suburbs.

By using a located observation method and based on the data collected from May,2007 to March,2008,the paper conducted a study of precipitation redistribution for the forest ecosystem of Liquidambar formosana plantation in Tianjiling Forest Farm,Changsha.

Study by grey relation analysis on death and damage of regenerations under secondary Liquidambar formosana forest in central mountainous area of Hainan province resulted that the rich regeneration species under tropical secondary forest were favorable to ecological reconstruction of local secondary forest.

The results indicated that:(1) the difference of species composition between the two forest types was significant; (2) in pine-sweet gum mixed forest,the pine population was a cohort aged from 25 to 30 years,which could be taken as a maturing population,while the sweet gum population could be viewed as an increasing population.
