植物形态：常绿蔓状灌木，高达3米，茎圆筒形，有纵条纹。叶互生，掌状复叶，小叶5~7枚，小叶长椭圆形，长9~16厘米，宽2.5~4厘米，两端钝，全缘，总叶柄长达20厘米。花青白色，伞形花序，排成顶生总状，花萼、花瓣、雄蕊常5~6枚，子房下位，6室。浆果球形，黄红色。 生态分布：产我国东南部各省；多生于沟谷常绿阔叶树林中。 药用部分：根、茎、叶入药，全年可采收。 用途：性味苦、甘，温。能舒筋活络，消肿止痛。主治风湿骨痛，跌打损伤。用量：2~3钱；外用鲜叶捣烂敷患处。
