性质: 一种植物病毒,属Caulimoviruses。它们攻击十字花科及一些茄科植物。CaMV的基因组由双链环状DNA组成,含8000bp左右。此环状分子有一些单链化的中断区或缺口,这些是与限制作用位点有关的特异位点,其细节已从某些分离物图示法表示。CaMV已被考虑用于外源DNA引入植物细胞中的可能载体。
