| 龙冠海(1906～1983) 中国社会学家。海南琼山人。幼年赴马来西亚，肄业于华侨小学，后转至新加坡中学，毕业后考入清华学堂留美预备班，受业6年后赴美国留学。先入斯坦福大学本科，师从C.M.凯斯教授，后入南加州大学研究院，师从E.鲍格达教授，完成题为《中国社会思想的演变》的论文，获社会学博士学位。回国后任教于南京金陵私立女子大学。1949年移居台湾，先后任教于国立台湾大学、省立法商学院。1960年，创建台湾大学社会学系，任第一任系主任兼教授。他担任台湾“中国社会学社”理事长多年，1982年获该社“特殊贡献奖”。著有《社会学》、《社会思想史》、《社会学与社会问题论丛》、《社会学与社会意识》、《都市社会学的理论与应用》、《社会思想家小传》、《社会研究法》（主编）等。龙冠海毕生从事于社会学的教学与研究。涉猎领域甚广，治学严谨，著述丰厚。其中《社会学》一书多次印行，影响较大。 |
