During 1992 to 1999, author has investigated rodents in slope wasteland in typical broken loess plateau gully region, the result is follow as:(1)There are 9 species rat ,and Lesser long tailed hamster, Greater long tailed hamster, Suphur bellied rat and Siberian chipmunk are superority species.

To efficiently control and improve the deteriorating ecological environment in the residual loess platform region we should develop the land resources on the basis of economics.
