从化温泉风景区
位于从化市温泉镇，距离广州75公里，全区面积14.5平方公里，分为温泉游览区和天湖游览区两部分。泉区共有泉眼13处，分布在河东、河西两岸。泉水含有多种化学成份，温度最高可达73℃，最低的也有30℃。在此洗浴，可以有效地消除身体的疲乏，调节各器官的功能，多次沐浴能达到祛病强身的目的。
天湖游览区在温泉西部，它的景色以山林和瀑布为主。 另外，从化是著名的荔枝之乡。每当盛夏荔枝成熟季节，游人来到这里沐浴温泉，品尝山珍野味和新鲜荔枝，成为一年一度的盛事。
关于从化温泉，还有一个美丽的传说：相传从化流溪河畔曾有个青龙头村，村里住着一位姓徐的采药老人。有一年瘟疫流行，看着乡亲们染病得不到医治，老人不顾年迈腿脚不便，硬是攀登上头甲山采药。他善良的心感动了仙女，仙女送给他一只可将泉水熬成药的银锅。老人用这口银锅解除了村里流行的瘟疫。但是银锅的妙用惊动了贪婪的恶霸，为躲避坏人的抢夺，老人被迫爬上山崖。然而坏人紧追不舍，老人只好呼唤着仙女纵身跳下崖底。不料银锅碎处涌出一股水柱，把坏人都冲进流溪河淹死。从此，流溪河畔日夜涌出清泉，这股可健身疗病的清泉就是从化温泉。
