潮土 chao soil 河流沉积物受地下水运动和耕作活动影响而形成的土壤。因有夜潮现象而得名。其主要特征是地势平坦、土层深厚。集中分布于河流冲积平原、三角洲泛滥地和低阶地。中国潮土多分布于黄河中、下游冲积平原及其以南江苏、安徽的平原地区和长江流域中、下游的河、湖平原和三角洲地区。潮土的形成主要受河流沉积物、地下水和耕作的影响。中国的潮土分2个亚类:黄潮土,以黄河沉积物为主,土壤中的碳酸钙及可溶性盐含量略偏高,呈中性至碱性反应,有机质含量不高;灰潮土,成土物质主要为硅铝质风化物,大多不含石灰,呈中性至微酸性反应,土壤毛管作用强,透水性较好,生物活动层深厚,土壤较肥沃。潮土的性状良好,适种性广,其分布地区是中国的粮棉基地。 |
