特征特性：该组合全生育期108天左右，株高80厘米左右，株型较紧凑适中，分蘖力较强，繁茂性好，叶色深绿，抽穗整齐，每穗总粒数100粒左右，结实率82%左右，千粒重29.0克，谷粒长形，米粒外观腹白小，外观品质较好，抗稻瘟病，抗白叶枯病。适合于双季稻作早稻栽培。
产量表现：1996~1998年安徽省区域试验和生产试验，比对照种351a/制选增产4%以上，一般亩产450公斤左右，高产田块达500公斤以上。
栽培要点：1、适时播种，培育壮秧。播种期一般在3月底、4月初，薄膜湿润育秧，秧田亩播量20—25公斤，秧龄25—30天，大田亩用种量2.5公斤；旱育秧栽培，播种期适当推迟，秧龄不超过20天，大田亩用种量2公斤；直播栽培，播种期安排在4月15日左右。播种前，种子应用药剂进行消毒，浸种时间不超过20小时，洗净后催芽。2、适当密植，插足基本苗。该组合株型较紧凑适中，分蘖力交强，在栽培上应适当密植，增加基本苗。一般栽插密度为4×5寸，每穴栽2—3粒种子苗。3、合理用肥，科学管水。栽插前施足基肥，栽后4—5天每亩追施尿素12.5公斤，氯化钾7.5公斤；进入幼穗分化时，看苗每亩酌施穗肥2公斤，促进壮杆大穗。水浆管理做到活棵灌浅水，分蘖期浅水、湿润间歇灌溉，后期断水不宜过早。
