进料加工的进口料件是要用外汇从国外购买的，而来料加工、来件装配方式的来料由委托方提供的，不需要付外汇的；（2）进料加工进口企业对进口料件拥有所有权，而来料加工、来件装配方式对来料、来件是不拥有所有权，只有使用权；（3）进料加工成品复出口需承担成品销售的风险，来料加工、来件装配只是劳务出口的一种方式，无需承担成品销售的风险；（4）进料加工成品复出口收取全部商品的价款，而来料加工、来件装配只是收取约定的工缴费（加工费）。
