Isolation and Transformation in Nicotiana tabacum of a Cellulose Synthase Gene (PtoCesA1) from Populus tomentosa;

High-sensitivity RT-PCR was adopted to examine five different tissues,young leaves,old leaves,stems and abscission layers and roots,of soybean seedlings that had been cultured for four weeks,and they were tested to show different expressions of soybean abscission cellulose gene,the highest expression amount appearing in abscission layers,and the lowest expression amount occurring in stems.
