| 螟蛾 Pyralidae；snout moths 鳞翅目蛾亚目螟蛾科的通称。全世界已有1万种以上 ，中国记录有1000余种，螟蛾身体细长脆弱，小型或中等大小。有喙或者萎缩。有单眼及复眼。触角细长。幼虫一生蜕皮4～5次，分5～6龄。蛹裸露纺锤形。 在茎秆内、树杈间、土壤中吐丝化蛹。成虫在夜间飞翔。但在仓库和居室内不论白天夜晚都活动。成虫寿命约一周左右。发生世代随同种类而异。多数种类一生须转换寄主，能迁移。以幼虫越冬。 螟蛾经济意义重要。幼虫取食粮食、蔬菜、果树、森林等各种植物，中草药、面粉、食品、干果、糖果以及多种贮藏物都可受到螟蛾为害。但是也有利用它的习性歼灭有害杂草的。多数为钻蛀取食，也有少数卷叶取食各种经济作物以及林木的。 |
