【植物形态】
小叶金老梅 小灌木，高15～80厘米。树皮片状剥落；小枝微弯曲，灰褐色或褐色，幼时有灰白色柔毛。羽状复叶，小叶5～9，倒卵形或椭圆形，长6～12毫米，宽2～6毫米，先端急尖，基部楔形，边缘向下反卷，全缘，上面深绿色，有稀疏柔毛，下面密生灰白色丝状柔毛；小叶近无柄，叶轴有长柔毛；托叶膜质，鞘状。花单生或效朵排列成伞房状；花黄色，直径1～2厘米；花萼5片，有副萼；花冠5瓣；花梗长5～8毫米，有柔毛。 生于牧区山坡及草坝和山坡石缝中。分布于内蒙古、新疆、青海、甘肃、山西、四川等地。

8～9月采，晒干或鲜用。
【性味】
甘，寒。
【归经】
入肾、膀胱二经。
【功用主治】
利尿消水。治寒湿脚气，痒疹，乳腺炎。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，2～5钱。外用：捣敷。
【选方】
①治痒疹：小叶金老梅、虎耳草、苦参，煎服。 ②治乳腺炎：小叶金老梅鲜花叶，捣敷。
