白菜型油菜(rape seed)

油菜三大类型之一。学名Brassia campestris L.。包括原产中国的芸薹和油白菜。中国又称小白菜、矮油菜、甜油菜等。染色体组为aa,n=10。

白菜型油菜株体较矮小。一般春性品种幼苗直立,冬性品种株型匍匐,半冬性品种介于二者之间。主根较发达或不发达,支细根发育中等或发达。原产中国西北部的北方小油菜B.campestris L.基叶有明显叶柄,具琴状缺刻;南方油白菜B.campestris var.chinensis Mak.,即B.chinensis L.基叶叶柄不明显,无琴状缺刻或不明显。北方小油菜分枝性弱,分枝数少。南方油白菜分枝性较强,分枝部位低,有的从地面就分枝,呈丛生型。茎组织松软,木质化程度较低,易倒伏,抗病虫性较弱。花色淡黄至深黄,花瓣椭圆,花序中间花蕾着生位置低于开放花朵。开花时雄蕊花药一般向外开裂,自交不亲和性强,异交结实率高,一般80-90%。中国青藏高原的地方品种千粒重最大可达6-7g。种皮暗褐、红褐或黄色,无辛辣味。种子含油率一般为30-40%,产自中国青藏高原的最高达50%以上。
