| 大蚕蛾科 Saturniidae；giant silkworm moths 鳞翅目昆虫的一科。又称野蚕蛾，天蚕蛾。主要产于热带地区，中国已记载40余种。该科蛾类除翅脉外，触角双栉状，胫节无距，无翅缰，体大型，翅色鲜艳，翅中各有一圆形眼斑，后翅肩角发达，某些种的后翅上有燕尾。幼虫粗壮，大多生有许多毛瘤。蛹的触角栉状宽大，下颚须很短，有些有短尾棘。若干种也能产丝，如日本的柞蚕和中国的柞蚕都产柞蚕丝，行销全世界。
