心理咨询员的素质(quallfieations of psy-chological counselor)心理咨询工作是一项复杂而艰巨的」_作，故心理咨询人员必须具有良好的素质，它包括高尚的职业道德、全面的知识结构与优良的心理品质。(l)高尚的职业道德。任何职业的人员都必须具有其职业道德，这是保证做好本职工作的必要条件。心理咨询员必备的职业道德:一是要热爱心理咨询事业，对心理咨询工作具有高度的责任感和事业心:能认真、慎重地处理来访者所提出的各种问题，不能草率马虎;对来访者要关心、热爱。一二是保护咨询对象的利益，在咨询中尊重来访者的人格、满足他们所提出的合理要求，替他们保守秘密。三是钻研心理咨询的业务，不断提高有关心理咨询的水平，总结经验，从实践中学习。(2)较全面的知识结构。心理咨询员至少应该具备丰富的心理学特别是医学心理学知识，并且熟悉社会学、伦理学、教育学等方面的知识。医学心理咨询员也要具有一定的医学知识和临床经验。特别是精神科、神经科与内科的临床经验，更应掌握有关的心理咨询的理论与技术。(3)优良的心理品质。心理咨询员必须具有敏锐的观察力、良好的记忆力及丰富的想像力。要对各种事物具有浓厚的兴趣，感情深沉而真挚，要善于控制自己，意志坚强，处理果断，不怕困难，知难而进_这样才能做好心理咨询工作。 (赵拼源朱永晰撰张备玮审)
