建瓯孔庙
位于建瓯市城区东北隅的孔庙，始建于宋神宗年间（1068-1078年），距今已有800多年的历史。这个拥地10亩有余的庙宇有棂星门、步云桥、伴池、前殿、大成殿、明伦堂、藏经阁、崇圣祠等建筑10余处。这些建筑均仿山东曲阜孔庙的建制，分三进庭院贯穿在一条南北长达800米的中轴线上。庙的周围筑有高墙，配以门坊，黄瓦红垣，金碧辉煌。虽说比不上山东曲阜孔庙，但也确实是八闽府级孔庙之冠。明太师杨荣曾誉此为“东南伟观”。
