大栗鳃金龟 Melolontha hippocastani mongolica 鳃金龟科昆虫的一种。又称大栗金龟子。体长 25.7 ~31.5毫米,体阔11.8~15.3毫米。大型甲虫。雄体狭长,雌体较短阔。体色黑、黑褐或深褐,常有墨绿色金属光泽。鞘翅、触角及各足跗节以下棕色或褐色,鞘翅边缘黑色。该种是川西主要地下害虫。成虫严重为害云杉、杉树和桦、杨等树木,幼虫严重为害大田作物(如青稞、小麦、豌豆、马铃薯、玉米、甜菜等)和苗圃中的苗木,常导致毁种重播或颗粒无收。生活史很长,需 5~6年完成一代。幼虫越冬5次,成虫越冬1次,越冬成虫于5月下旬开始出土交配产卵,雌虫能多次交尾,多次产卵。 |
