为玄参科植物鹅首马先蒿的花。
【植物形态】
鹅首马先蒿 多年生小草本，高6～10厘米。根圆锥状，表面粗糙。根茎短。茎自根茎上发出多条，紫红色，具节，被细绒毛。基生叶具柄，披针形，边缘有钝锯齿；茎生叶对生，披针形或卵状披针形，先端钝，基部渐狭，边缘有钝齿，叶片深绿色，两面均被细毛。花通常单生茎顶；花冠紫色，下唇具脉，喙长，红色，下部膨大，弯曲形如鹅首。蒴果三角状披针形。种子长圆形。 生于山坡草地。分布西藏、四川等地。
【采集】
7～8月采花。晒干。
【性味】
甘涩，温。
【功用主治】
利尿平喘，益阴，止痛。治水肿，尿少，气喘，营养不良，骨髓炎引起的针刺样疼痛。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，0.5～1钱。
