Esitimation of growth and mortality parameter of Priacanthus macracanthus in Beibu Bay;

Based on the length-frequency data of Crimson sea bream Priacanthus tayenus collected in Beibu Bay in the 1960s and 1990s the growth and mortality prameter were estimated using the ELLEFANⅡ technique in FiSAT.

Results showed,Nemipterus virgatus,Nemipterus bathybius and Priacanthus tayenus were the dominant species;their Index of Relative Importance(IRI) were 7 518.
