国外的农业合作社
国外的农业合作社在自愿互利原则下，农民在生产、流通领域内组织起来，以维护其共同利益的企业组织。19世纪中叶，西欧和北美农业发达地区的农民，为了对付日益加剧的中间剥削，并加强其同大资本农业的竞争能力，在农产品流通领域内建立了多种形式的农业合作社。俄国十月革命后，合作经济组织在苏联、东欧、中国和一些亚非发展中国家相继崛起，合作内容扩展到生产领域。据1979年联合国有关部门召开的世界农村改革和发展会议秘书处统计，当时参加合作社的农业人口占世界农业人口的40%一50%;其所占有的耕地占世界耕地的1/3左右;所生产的粮食占全世界粮食总产量的1/2左右。农业合作社成为当代具有经济共同增长和人民参加为基础的进步组织形式。合作经济组织在经过农村改革的东亚国家内，得到健康发展;欧、美、日本等发达国家的合作组织在其国内农业流通领域内，占有十分重要的地位;发展中国家的农业合作社运动，在一些非洲国家解体以后，又在更多的地区悄然兴起;在东欧地区，合作经济仍是进行农村经济活动的主要组织形式。 农业合作社运动，继承了人类发展历史中互助、互利的传统美德;在市场经济的竞争中，维护了中、小农民的利益;在坚持自愿、互利和民主管理的原则中成长;适应市场经济规律，循着农、工、商一体化的方向发展。合作社按照各自的经济状况，正确处理内部分配关系，在保障社员逐年增加收入的同时，提留适当比例的公共积累，有利于不断地扩大再生产能力;也有利于发展农村公共福利事业，并引导农民走向共同富裕。
