The adaptive faculty and tolerance for the ecological factors of 131 species (subspecies or varieties) of Rhododendron which were gathered from different places,belong to 7 subgenera,35 sections (or subsections) respectively and were Ex-situ conserved in China Rhododendron Garden,Dujiangyan,Sichuan was investigated by means of semi-quantitative method.
通过半定量评价法 ,对四川都江堰中国杜鹃园内引种的来自各地的、分属杜鹃属 7亚属、 35组 (或亚组 )的 131种杜鹃花的适应能力和对各生态因子的耐性进行了研究。

杜鹃园园在映山湖西南山坡中，是以观赏无锡市花杜鹃为主的园林。
这里有醉红坡、沁芳涧、鉴塘、踯躅廊等景点。园内种植了各类杜鹃300多个品种。
每当暮春时节杜鹃花开，云蒸霞蔚，繁花似锦。其他季节园景也美不胜收，有垂柳碧桃的江南意境、兰草幽香的山野情趣、粉墙绿蕉的庭院小景。池畔的海棠、溪边的茑尾、林中的红枫、窗间的紫竹，都配植有致，耐人寻味。此园因此荣获国家建设部优秀设计一等奖。
杜鹃花，俗名“映山红”，属杜鹃花科杜鹃花属，多数为半常绿灌木，页互生，椭圆或披针形，花冠五裂，宽漏斗状，树型丰满，品种繁多，为著名的观赏植物。
早在二十年代，无锡就已开始栽培杜鹃花，由于花朵绚丽夺目，惹人喜爱，栽培者与日俱增，至五十年代，已积累了一整套繁殖、养护经验，品种、数量之多，素负盛名。现各公园、风景区、街道绿地、庭院阳台，均有栽培。
