性质:(一)流动系统中的局部空间,该空间中的流体基本上不参加主流体流动,只在原地作局部运动。死区处的流体的停留时间是无限长的。在化工装备中应避免存在死区,因为它不但减少了设备有效利用的空间,而且也会造成事故。例如反应器死区处的物料会发生过度反应,发生结焦等事故。(二)在仪表领域,又称仪表的不灵敏区。输入量的变化不致引起该仪表输出量有任何可察觉的变化的有限区间。产生死区的原因主要是仪表内部元件间的摩擦和间歇。
