| 丘陵 hills 地球表面形态起伏，绝对高度在500米以内，相对高度不超过200米，由各种岩类组成的坡面组合体。坡度一般较缓，切割破碎，无一定方向。按相对高度分为：200米以上为高丘陵 ，200米以下为低丘陵 ；按坡度陡峻程度分为：＞25°以上称陡丘陵，＜25°称缓丘陵；按不同岩性组成可分为：花岗岩丘陵、火山岩丘陵、各种沉积岩丘陵，如红土丘陵、黄土梁峁丘陵等；按成因又可以分为：构造丘陵、剥蚀-夷平丘陵 、火山丘陵、风成沙丘丘陵、荒漠丘陵、岩溶丘陵及冻土丘陵等；按分布位置可分为：山间丘陵、山前丘陵、平原丘陵，在洋底，称为海洋丘陵等。丘陵地区，尤其是靠近山地与平原之间的丘陵地区，往往由于山前地下水与地表水由山地供给而水量丰富，自古就是人类依山傍水，防洪、农耕的重要栖息之地，也是果树林带丰产之地。因其风景别致，可辟为旅游胜地。
