性质:又名磺胺甲基嘧啶,磺胺-4-甲嘧啶。白色结晶性粉末。熔点234~239℃。在稀矿酸和强碱液中溶解,在沸水、乙醇、乙醚和氯仿中略溶,在水中不溶。其钠盐为白色粉末,在水中溶解,在醇中微溶,在乙醚、氯仿中几乎不溶。由乙酰乙酸乙酯与胍为原料制得。为磺胺类药物,作用与磺胺嘧啶相似,口服后肠内吸收较磺胺嘧啶为快,排泄则较慢,其最大缺点为出现血尿、结晶尿和蛋白尿的机会较多,故不单独使用。适用于脑膜炎双球菌、肺炎双球菌、溶血性链球菌和淋球菌引起的感染。制剂为片剂。
