性质:又称双酚A侧链型环氧树脂(bisphenol-A containing pendant group epoxy resin)或双酚A侧链型二缩水甘油醚(bisphenol-A containing pendant group diglycidyl ether)。俗称EI型环氧树脂(EI type epoxy resin)。双酚A碳原子上两个甲基为其他碳原子数较多的烷基所取代的环氧树脂。相对密度1.13~1.14,环氧当量330~360g/eq,黏度(25℃)3~4Pa·s。固化物韧性如耐热冲击性较好,但机械强度和化学稳定性劣于双酚A环氧树脂,常需与之混合使用。混合前、后固化物热变形温度(℃)分别为34℃和45~66℃;伸长率62%和4%~51%;拉伸强度1.7MPa和10.2—47.2MPa。由双酚A与环氧丙烷制成聚醚后再与环氧氯丙烷缩聚制得。主要用作绝缘铸塑料、包封料和胶黏剂。
