硅藻门 Bacillariophyta 藻类植物的一门。藻体为单细胞或群体,含有叶绿素a,c,胡萝卜素,硅甲藻素、岩藻黄素等,同化产物为金藻昆布糖和油滴。细胞壁由硅质和果胶质组成,而且分为稍大的上壳和略小的下壳,二者像盒子一样套合在一起。盒面和盒底分别为上、下壳面,在壳面上有各式排列的花纹,能动的种类在壳面还有壳缝或管壳缝。上、下壳套合的部分称相连带,总称为壳环,这个面称带面。硅藻常以细胞分裂进行繁殖,母细胞分裂后,其上、下壳各形成1个子细胞的上壳,每个子细胞再各产生1个新的下壳。此外,有些硅藻还可产生小孢子或休眠孢子进行无性繁殖。有性生殖为同配和异配或卵配,配子融合后发育成复大孢子。硅藻约11000种,分为中心纲和羽纹纲。大多水生,淡、海水中都有很多种类生长,也有的生活在潮湿的土表、墙壁和岩面等处。硅藻是水生动物的天然饵料,是水体中特别是海水中的主要初级生产力,在水产养殖业和水质监测等方面均有重要意义。硅藻死亡后沉积下来的胞壁可形成硅藻土,在工业上有重要用途。 |
