| 饭豆 Phaseolus calcaratus 豆科菜豆属一年生草本。斐济、毛里求斯等国都有栽培。中国主产于云南、贵州、四川、广西、陕西、山西等地。其茎高100～300厘米，绿或紫色，有蔓生、半蔓、直立3种类型。总状花序，花鲜黄色。荚呈细长圆筒形。子粒长筒形，色浅黄、红、黄绿或麻斑。自花授粉。喜温暖气候。较抗旱耐瘠，不耐涝。为短日照作物。中国北方春播，南方夏播。单作或与玉米间、套作。成熟时易裂荚，应分期收。有白粉病、立枯病 ，细菌性斑点病、根癌等病害。子粒含蛋白质20％～22％，脂肪1.3％～2.5％，含钙、磷、铁、烟酸和核黄素等。可食用、入药。茎叶作饲料、绿肥和覆盖作物。
