The sub-main channel for Huangshuihe reservoir,which is located at Linfeng countryside of Weixin county in Yunnan Province,is designed for irrigation,human and domestic animals drinking,controlling flood and generating electricity,etc.

The paper,based on the actual construction,makes plans of jacking construction of large-diameter water supply pipes across main canals,introduces some specific methods and the practice shows that they are feasible and reasonable and have achieved satisfactory results.
