Those data were from 10 years of practice (1995～2004)of 8 counties with paddy-field-fish-culture and 11 counties without that,which located in the northern,northwest and southeast of Guangxi.

在稻田中放养速生鱼类以增加经济收入的一种措施。在中国具有悠久的历史，稻田养鱼有稻、鱼并作和稻、鱼轮作两种基本形式。
主要指稻鱼并作，鱼取食大量的低等藻类和杂草，也取食浮游动物、小型昆虫、螺类以及部分农业害虫，限制了稻田生态系统中物质和能量流的外溢，使之转化为鱼产品，并以鱼粪便的形成归还给土壤，改善了水稻生长发育的环境条件。稻田养鱼宜放养适于浅水生活、能充分利用稻田中天然饵料的鲤、鲫、草鱼等速生鱼类，并采取设置鱼沟、鱼坑，选择高效低毒农药，把化肥用作基肥，作追肥时宜次多量少等措施加以适当解决。
南方一些地区的冬水田休闲期长，还可放养部分鲢、鳙鱼，并适当加大放养密度，一般每公顷产鲜鱼400-500kg，高的可达750kg左右。
