是现代输血使用最多的一种红细胞成分。其血细胞比容达0.70～0.90以上，适应证是血容量正常而需补充红细胞的贫血。其优点是不含或少含血浆，容量小而效果大，引起不良反应或循环超负荷的危险小。亦可用于中等量的出血。保存方法同全血。但如血细胞比容大于0.80，需用含葡萄糖量较多的保存液及含代血浆的保存液或代血浆血，适用于贫血和低血容量并存时，如出血、创伤和手术等。
