描述MezoneuronDesf.见血飞属，云实科，约30余种，分布于东半球热带地区，我国有见血飞M.cucullatumWightetArn.和华见血飞M.sinenseHemsl.等4种，产西南部至南部。藤状灌木，枝和叶轴有下弯的短钩刺；二回偶数羽状复叶。花两性，左右对称，排成总状花序或再复合为圆锥花序；萼管短，极偏斜，裂片5，覆瓦状排列，不等，最下1枚较大，凹陷或舟状；花瓣5，黄色，广展，近相等，深覆瓦状，有短瓣柄；雄蕊10，分离，下倾，花药丁字着生；子房无柄或具短柄，花柱弯曲，柱头小，有胚珠1至多数；荚果扁平，无刺，卵状长圆形或近圆形，有狭翅，果瓣革质或膜质，腹缝有脉纹，有种子1－7颗。
