| 产地及产期: 主要分布于温带及寒带地区、我国主要产于黄海、渤海。以海洋岛渔场，石岛渔场和辽东湾渔场产量较多。 | |
| 介绍: 石鲽鱼与高眼鲽外形近似。一般体长20～30厘米。体重250～400克。其区别于高眼鲽的主要特征是：背鳍腹鳍边缘均有坚硬状不规则的石骨数块，故名“石岗鱼”。石骨与鱼体大小相关，鱼大则石骨大，鱼小则石骨小，一般大者如蚕豆大。牙小，上下颌各一行。头小，略扁。两眼均在头的右侧。侧线较直、明显、前部微突起。有眼一侧被栉鳞、呈褐色或灰褐色；无眼一侧被圆鳞，呈银白色，有的身上和鳍上有小形暗色斑纹。 |
